Previous studies have shown that the m6A modification occurs during transcription, while histone modification is widely distributed in various functional regulatory elements of the genome. It is a novel idea to study the regulatory roles of histone modification in the formation of m6A modification from the perspective of whole genome and transcriptome.
We collected ChIP-seq datasets of 14 histone modifications in 12 cells from ENCODE and explore the association between them with six RNA modifications stroed in ENCORE.
